On the 7th of May, China General Administration of Customs GAC released data on non-compliant food in March 2018, which included 179 rejected batches from 27 countries or regions.
The table below shows the most represented categories of non-compliant food for that month.

According to GAC data, Devondale products were rejected again: the 12 tons batch of Australian milk they wanted to sell in China was found not matching with the provided certificate. One batch of Hoogwegt milk powder from Belgium was rejected for invalid packaging and so were several batches of cheese with excessive bacterial content.
All the above-mentioned food products were prevented from entering the country and were either returned or destroyed at the port.
