China November 2017 Non-Compliant Imported Food Data

881 batches of food from 53 countries or regions were rejected in November 2017 according to data released by China AQSIQ.

On January the 2nd, China’s AQSIQ released data on non-compliant food for November 2017. 881 batches of food from 53 countries or regions were rejected. Beverages, cookies and rice products are among the most represented food categories in the list, as the table below shows:

The highest number of batches of non-compliant food are Soy Milk Drink, Frozen Squid and Chia Seeds, as well as glutinous rice and whole milk from various countries, as shown in this excerpt: 

All the rejected batches of food have been either returned or destroyed at the port area.
