CNCA Updates Directory of Certified Organic Products

CNCA updated the Directory of Certified Organic Products which will impact the scope of products eligible for organic certification.

On the 13th of December, CNCA released the fifth Update of the Directory of Certified Organic Products, deleting and adding food products eligible for organic certification. After this date certification bodies will start accepting applications for newly added products and no longer accept applications for organic certification of products which have been removed from the list.

Eligibility for organic certification of any products removed from the list has been rescinded as of the date of announcement even if the product obtained certification eligibility approval prior to the release of the “Update”. Cancelled products currently circulating in the market can be sold until expiration
