On April 27, 2026, the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)—the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia—alongside Yemen, have jointly submitted two draft technical regulations to the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding Greek-style yogurt products.
