Green Food Label Revision Filing Eligibility Criteria

According to the temporary provision unveiled by China Green Food development center on Aug. 20, 2018, the Green Food logo user shall apply for filing if changes are made to any of the following:

• the principal display panel

• the format presenting the green food logo (such as the color, font and etc.)

• net weight and specification indicated on product package

Filing eligibility is contingent on the Green Food certificate still being valid and the previously provided registration information remaining unchanged. Filing of label changes (instead of registration) can be undertaken in cases where:

• The labeling revision is compliant with requirements of national package and labeling, Green Food and regulations issued by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

• Growing environmental conditions, production environment, technique, quality management system and etc. are all unchanged

• The ingredient composition ratio has not been revised

• Other conditions
