On February 3, Indonesia food and drug authority (BPOM) released Decree No. 70 of 2025 on Changes in Food Categories and Raw Materials Derived from Plants or Animals. The decree took effect immediately, repealing BPOM Regulation No. 13 of 2023 on Food Categories. However, a grace period of 30 months has been provided.
