On Oct. 31, 2019, Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) announced revision to Food Sanitation Act, involving criteria of 6 pesticides’ and veterinary drugs’ residue in food. They are amoxicillin, captan, dithianon, thiacloprid, propanil and bromofenofos.[1] Check out the amendment here. The revision became effective upon its publication on Oct. 31. However, the following criteria will enter effect six months later:
