The Malaysian Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM) has introduced MyHALALINGREDIENTS, a new digital system designed to enhance the efficiency and transparency of Malaysia’s halal certification process. Officially launched on August 15, 2025, the system forms part of the government’s broader digitalization drive under the MADANI framework.
MyHALALINGREDIENTS serves as a centralized database for recording and evaluating all ingredients used within the halal industry. Integrated with the existing MYeHALAL platform, it reduces dependence on physical documents and accelerates the certification process.
