As revealed by the MFDS Notice released on Dec 30th, 2019, the government re-evaluated the safety and function of nine nutrients. Authorities plan to require the use of consumption disclaimers for 4 nutrients. Functional claims related to chromium have also been added into the Health Functional Food Code.
Here’s the evaluation result of the nine nutrients, namely, β-carotene, vitamin K, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, pantothenic acid, vitamin B12, vitamin H, potassium, and chromium.
Maintain the reference daily intake of the nine nutrients.
Newly added the functional claim for chromium – “It could help to metabolize carbohydrate, fat, and protein”
A consumption disclaimer for all nutrients is added “ If any adverse reactions occur, please stop the intake of this product and consult experts immediately”
