NHFPC Approves 2 New Food Additives

On 3 Jul, NHFPC announced the approval of Tea Polyphenol Palmitate (used as antioxidant), 5-Methyl-2-furanmethanethiol (used as flavoring) as new food additives in China. In addition, application scopes of the following 4 existing food additives have been extended.
