On February 27, 2026, South Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety released a preliminary list of health functional food ingredients subject to re-evaluation in 2027. This list outlines 31 functional ingredients, including 5 notified ingredients and 26 individually recognized ingredients. The final list of ingredients for re-evaluation will be confirmed and published in August 2026.
