On Nov. 29th, Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) released a notice to publish the newly added imported food subject to an inspection order in line with stipulations in Article 22 of Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control (click here to see the law) and Requirements on Food, etc. Subject to an Inspection Order (MFDS Notification No. 2017-73).
The details are as below:

The above imported food is ordered to be inspected during Dec. 24th, 2018 to Dec, 23rd, 2019.
To undergo the inspection, importers shall submit an inspection report to the minister of a competent regional Korea food and drug administration. An inspection report is recognized only when issued by a testing and inspection agency specialized in food as specified in Article 6 (3) 1 of Act on Testing and Inspection in the Food and Drug Industry (click here to see the law), or Overseas Testing and Inspection Agencies designated by The Minister of Food and Drug Safety under Article 8 of the same act.
