On November 21, 2024, the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration announced to revise the Appendix 1 of Article 2 in the Standards for Specification, Scope, Application and Limitation of Food Additives. Any comments can be submitted within 60 days following the announcement.
Key proposed amendments:
1. Revisions to Food Additive Names
The draft proposes changes to the Chinese and/or English names of Trisodium Phosphate and other nine food additives.
