Thailand Modernizes Regulation for Foods in Hermetically Sealed Containers

Signed on April 17, 2026, MOPH Notification No. 469 regarding Food in Hermetically Sealed Containersis currently pending publication in the Royal Gazette and will enter into force immediately upon publication, officially replacing the previous Notification No. 355 issued in 2013.

As announced in a press release by the Thailand Food and Drug Administration on May 5, 2026, Thailand will promulgate the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) Notification No. 469 regarding Food in Hermetically Sealed Containers. Signed on April 17, 2026, the notification is currently pending publication in the Royal Gazette and will enter into force immediately upon publication, officially replacing the previous Notification No. 355 issued in 2013.
