Thailand Modernizes Food Additive Regulations with New MOPH Notification (No. 468)

Thailand FDA has enforced MOPH Notification No. 468 on food additives from December 12, 2025, with a two-year transition period for products complying with the previous Notification No. 444. The regulation extensively revises food additive permissions, including new authorizations, reclassifications, stricter maximum use levels, and withdrawals (e.g., Azodicarbonamide) based on JECFA safety reviews and Codex standards.
