On July 20, 2026, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released the final rule to amend the Standard of Identity (SOI) for pasteurized orange juice by lowering the minimum soluble solids content and increasing the allowable limit for juice blends. The rule will become effective on August 19, 2026.
