Vietnam Drafts 15 TCVN Standards for Food Testing and Quality Control

Vietnam has proposed 15 new draft national standards that mainly update analytical methods for food, beverage, dietary supplement, and infant formula testing. The drafts also align domestic microbiological and laboratory-quality procedures with international AOAC and ISO-based practices for contaminant, nutrient, and pathogen detection.

On June 1, 2026, Vietnam's Ministry of Health (MOH) released 15 draft National Standards (TCVN) for public consultation, focusing on a wide range of products including general foods, beverages, dietary supplements, and special nutritional foods like infant formula. The deadline for submitting feedback on these proposals is July 30, 2026.
