India issued the revised guidelines for submission of applications for endorsement of vegan logo. EU proposed restricted uses of PFAS in applications including food contact materials. UK proposed the maximum residue levels for thiram and mefentrifluconazole in certain foods. US FDA released the draft guidance for plant-based milk alternatives. Canada updated the List of Permitted Food Additives. FSANZ consulted on three new food additives.

Philippines proposed to revise Guidelines on the Unified Licensing Requirements and Procedures. India mandated the rules for foreign food manufacturing facilities of five food categories to register with FSSAI. EU amended regulation as regards maximum levels of dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs in certain foodstuffs. The U.S. announced to remove the dual labeling requirements for certain packages of meat and poultry products. Canada seeks approval for the use of alpha-cyclodextrin. Australia and New Zealand consulted on the use of alpha-amylase.
