CFDA Announces to Accept Health Food Filing Application since May 1st of 2017

On Jan. 25, CFDA released No. 16 Announcement to notify both domestic and overseas health food manufacturers that producing health food with first batch of approved health food raw materials (see CL news report on Jan.16 2017) should file their products according to the requirement of Administrative Measures for Registration and Filing of Health Foods. 

Chinese health food manufacturers should file with provincial food and drug administrations while overseas manufacturers should file with the CFDA. The competent authority will start to accept filing application since May 1^st of 2017.
