China CFSA intends to expand the usage scope of the food additives potassium sorbate and Capryil Monoglyceride in Latiao.
On the 22nd of May, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment CFSA published a request for public comment on the proposed expansion in the usage scope of 2 food additives: Potassium Sorbate and Capryil Monoglyceride. Both the substances are designated for use in “Latiao”, a traditional snack, at a maximum concentration of 1 g/Kg.
