On the 22nd of May, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment CFSA published a request for public comment on the proposed expansion in the usage scope of 2 food additives: Potassium Sorbate and Capryil Monoglyceride. Both the substances are designated for use in “Latiao”, a traditional snack, at a maximum concentration of 1 g/Kg.
