CFSA Consults on 8 Food Additives: 2 New, 6 Usage Expanded

From Sep. 28 to Sep. 30, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) released several consultation notices seeking public comments on the proposed approval of the following food additives. The consultation will be open for 30 days.

The usage expansion of selenium-enriched yeast was opened for public comments earlier on Sep. 6, 2018, but before the deadline (Oct.5), CFSA revised its note of from “according to GB 29922-2013…” to “according to GB 29922…” in case there would be amendments to this standard in the future.
