According to non-compliance data released by China AQSIQ at the end of October, 847 batches of food failed to be imported in September mainly due to the use of non-compliant label, unqualified products and excessive use of food additives.
Infant formula milk powder
18 batches of infant formula milk powder were rejected, amounting to over 30 tons. 3 batches of Australian infant formula named “Gold Roo” failed inspection due to lack of a qualification certificate. The remaining 15 batches from Korea were all found exceeding shelf life. Both Maeil and Namyang were blacklisted.

Complementary food
14 batches of complementary food were found non-compliant in September. 3 from Russia exceeded shelf life, and the remaining 14 batches of puree from Germany failed due to excessive use of Vitamin C (as food additive).
Dairy products
33 batches of dairy products were found unqualified. The failures were primarily attributable to exceeding shelf life, discrepancy between cargo and documentation, and lack of qualified documents. It is worth noting that Devondale was blacklisted again (read CL news here).

Wine
The major reason for the non-compliance of 37 batches grape wine was a discrepancy between cargo and certificates, which accounted for nearly 35%. The remaining failures were primarily attributed to use of non-compliant packages.
