Currently, sucralose can be added in beverage (except packaged drinking water and (concentrated) fruit and vegetable juice (puree)), with a maximum usage amount of 0.25 g/kg. However, the current GB 25531-2010 doesn’t apply to commercialized sucralose solution, which is widely used during the production of beverages. Thus, this proposed amendment aims to add requirements for commercialized sucralose products.
