Determination of Vitamin K2 in Food
This proposed GB standard applies to the determination of Vitamin K2 in milk and dairy products, foods for special dietary use, fermented soybean products as well as meat and meat products. It specifies the required reagents and materials, apparatus and equipment, testing procedures and result analysis.
Determination of Tin in Food
Two new testing methods are newly included/added in the proposed revision, which further specifies the application scope.
Three Microbial Testing Methods
S/N | GB standard name | State |
1 | Food Microbiological Examination for Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli | Formulation |
2 | Food Microbiological Examination for Salmonella | Revision |
3 | Food Microbiological Examination for Cronobacter | Revision |
Food Microbiological Examination for Cronobacter
The current GB standard applies to the determination of Cronobacter in infant formula, as well as milk and dairy products. In this proposed revision, complementary baby food is added into the application scope. Some items in the testing method are amended, either.
Three Food Additives Standards
S/N | GB standard name | State |
1 | GB 1886.191-2016 Food Additive Citral Amendment No.1 | Amendment sheet |
2 | GB 25531-2010 Food Additive Sucralose Amendment No.1 | Amendment sheet |
3 | GB 28402-2012 Food Additive Pulullan Amendment No.2 | Amendment sheet |
GB 25531-2010 Food Additive Sucralose Amendment No.1
Currently, sucralose can be added in beverage (except packaged drinking water and (concentrated) fruit and vegetable juice (puree)), with a maximum usage amount of 0.25 g/kg. However, the current GB 25531-2010 doesn’t apply to commercialized sucralose solution, which is widely used during the production of beverages. Thus, this proposed amendment aims to add requirements for commercialized sucralose products.
