On 17 Apr, the Center for Food Safety of Hong Kong (CFS) published the list of Small Volume Exemption Products, which covers various kinds of prepackaged foods. Under the Small Volume Exemption Scheme, prepackaged foods of the same version with annual sales volume in Hong Kong not exceeding 30,000 units may be granted with exemption from providing nutrition labelling.

China's overseas food manufacturer registration, commonly referred to as GACC/CIFER registration, has been in force since 2022 and applies to all foreign food manufacturers exporting to China. The system requires eligible producers to obtain registration prior to export, ensuring compliance with China's food safety and regulatory standards.
