On April 1, 2014, NHFPC announced the approval of L-Methionylglycine HCl as a new food additive and extended the application scope of three food additives including Vitamin A, Vitamin B1 and bentonite.
L-Methionylglycine﹒HCl is approved to be used as flavorings, the technical specifications of which are outlined as below:
