On May 19, 2015, Taiwan FDA announced the requirements for EPA and DHA content nutrition labeling of packaged foods.
As stipulated in “Matters for Nutrition Claims of Packaged Foods”, the labeling of EPA and DHA is voluntary. The testing value of EPA and DHA shall not be less than 80% of the labeled value, i.e. if the labeled value of EPA and DHA is 100mg, the testing value of them shall not be less than 80mg.
