On July 1, 2026, the Thailand Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) released the second draft notification regarding the updated list of permitted enzymes for food production. The draft aims to revise Annex 1 of the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. 443) B.E. 2566 (2023) by expanding the types of enzymes, their sources, and the conditions for their use to better align with current food technology needs. Stakeholders are invited to submit their feedback on the draft by the deadline of July 31, 2026.
