“GB 2763-2016 National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food” will enter into force on June 18th, in addition to 106 national standards related to pesticide residue testing methods. Compared with GB 2763-2014 which will be replaced, the following picture illustrates the major changes:
Pay attention, 33 kinds of pesticide are exempted from maximum residue limits.
108 national standards such as “GB 2707-2016 National Food Safety Standard Fresh (Frozen) Meat of Livestock and Poultry will become effective on June 23th. Among them, there are 81 standards concerned with food testing method and regulation, 14 miscellaneous food safety standards and 13 related to nutritional fortification substance.
