On October 27, 2022, the Philippines FDA announced to amend FDA Circular 2021-028 entitled Guidelines for Prepackaged Processed Food Products Containing Trans-Fatty Acids (TFA). In October of 2022, China proposed to add Ginseng, American Ginseng, and Lingzhi to Health Food Raw Material Directory. South Korea published the modifications in Food Code. Japan revised the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Food Sanitation Act. Indonesia drafted new regulation for processed food registration. Thailand unveiled the exposure drafts of five food regulations. Singapore updated the List of New Farms and Establishments Approved to Export to Singapore. Philippines proposed to revise Guidelines on the Unified Licensing Requirements and Procedures. India mandated the rules for foreign food manufacturing facilities of five food categories to register with FSSAI. EU amended regulation as regards maximum levels of dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs in certain foodstuffs. The U.S. announced to remove the dual labeling requirements for certain packages of meat and poultry products. Canada seeks approval for the use of alpha-cyclodextrin. Australia and New Zealand consulted on the use of alpha-amylase.
