China Proposes to Approve Two New Food Raw Materials

Pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium (PQQ) salt is proposed to be used in beverages in China, while such product should not be consumed by infant and young children, the pregnant and lactating women.

On Aug. 17, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) opened two new food raw materials to public feedback. Any comment shall be sent back to xspyl@cfsa.net.cn before Sep. 17, 2021.
