On August 1, 2025, China’s National Health Commission released the exposure drafts of GB 2762 National Food Safety Standard Maximum Levels of Contaminants in Foods and GB 2761 National Food Safety Standard Maximum Levels of Mycotoxins in Foods. The proposed amendments in these two standards cover aquatic products and food for special medical purposes (FSMP). Any comments can be sent back prior to September 26, 2025 via online system.
