Vietnam Solicits Public Feedbacks to Revise the Maximum Level of Mycotoxins Contamination in Food

Vietnam’s Ministry of Health is now soliciting public feedbacks for the preparation to revise QCVN 8-1:2011/BYT National Technical Regulation on the Limits of Mycotoxins Contamination in Food.

The current effective national technical regulation QCVN 8-1:2011/BYT stipulates the maximum limits of the following items in nut & its products, dried fruit and its products, grain and its products, spices, alcoholic beverage, beverage, dairy and its products, baby food, etc.

  • Aflatoxin B1, aflatoxin M1 and total Aflatoxin

  • Ochratoxin A

  • Patulin

  • Deoxynivalenol

  • Zearalenone

  • Fumonisin

Companies who have met difficulties and obstacles during the implementation of the current national technical regulation QCVN 8-1:2011/BYT can submit related problems and/or suggestions to [email protected] or [email protected] before July 6, 2023.
