On May 13, 2021, Japan MHLW announced to revise the maximum residue limits (MRL) of 5 pesticides and veterinary drug stipulated in the "Standards and Criteria for Food and Food Additives, etc. ". They are Chlorpyrifos, Diethofencarb, Deltamethrin and Tralomethrin, Pymetrozine, and Myclobutanil. The changes came into effect after the promulgation.
However, the MRL of the substances in some food will be effective one year after the promulgation, which are shown in the table below. (Feel free to contact ChemLinked if you need the full list).
