The Customs Duties Order 2025 will come into full force and effect on November 1, 2025.
Import duties to be levied upon and paid by importers for all goods, including foods, are specified in the First Schedule.
On October 31, 2025, the Malaysian government officially gazetted the Customs Duties Order 2025, providing the comprehensive, standardized tariff rates applicable across the majority of the Malaysian customs territory. Issued under the authority of the Customs Act 1967, the Order will come into full force and effect on November 1, 2025. The Customs Duties Order 2022 is revoked.
