6 Chinese Goat Infant Formula Powder Manufacturers Reprimanded for Hygiene Violations

In 2016, the authority tightened up supervision on goat milk products. Several notices were issued on implementation of more stringent inspection, such as “Area Governance on Infant Formula Goat Milk Powder” by CFDA. Shanxi FDA (the most significant goat milk production region in China) released “Governance on Goat Milk Powder Enterprise of Shanxi Province”.

CFDA Released Results of Onsite Inspection of Four Major Infant Formula Manufacturers

In May of 2016, the CFDA organized a team to conduct onsite inspection of the production plants of four infant formula manufacturers, Weiquan, Beingmate, Wyeth Nutrition and Abbott. The inspection results were issued on the 8th of November.
