On Mar. 6, 2017, China CFDA released three approved supplementary testing methods in accordance with “Provisions for Supplementary Food Testing Methods” (see CL news report on Jan. 3, 2017).

On Mar. 6, 2017, China CFDA released three approved supplementary testing methods in accordance with “Provisions for Supplementary Food Testing Methods” (see CL news report on Jan. 3, 2017).
These three supplementary food testing methods are mainly used for:

Determination of 33 illegally added compounds for weight loss and fat reduction including sibutramine in foods (health foods) including solid beverages (coffee, milk tea, tea leaves, etc.), biscuits, drinks, etc.

Determination of sulbactam in raw milk and liquid milk (except yogurt)

Determination of 11 plant growth regulators in bean sprout, including 6-benzyladenine, gibberellin, etc.
