South Korean confectionary maker Orion entered the Chinese market in the early 90s. With its signature choco pie, Orion rapidly swept China and many other overseas markets. In 2020 alone, it reaped 1.09 trillion won in China, accounting for 75% of the total overseas sales volume. Orion's choco pie has even topped the most recommended pie product on the Chinese market for six times. Things to Know About New Food-related Products Registration in China

Japan Revises the Residue Limits of Nine Pesticides and Veterinary Drugs in Food

On February 25, 2022, Japan MHLW released the amendment to Food and Food Additive Specification Standard, which mainly revised the residue limits of nine pesticides and veterinary drugs. They are Albendazol, Captan, Cyazofamid, Cypermethrin, Zeranol, Pyriofenone, Fluoxastrobin, Procymidone, Mandestrobin. The amendment came into effect immediately after the promulgation.
