Japanese New Food Labeling System Effective Since April 1, 2020

In accordance with the “partial revision of Food Labeling Standard(2015)”, Japan released a new labeling system. The new labeling system has a transition period for five years and came into effect on April 1, 2020. The revision of the food labeling standard mainly involves nutrition labeling and allergen labeling.
