For the purpose of strengthening the monitoring over veterinary drug residues and ensuring the hygiene and safety of animal derived foods, the Ministry has organized and revised the Maximum Residue Limits of Veterinary Drugs in Animal Derived Foods in accordance with the Regulations on Administration of Veterinary Drugs, which is hereby issued, and all localities are requested to comply with it. From the date of issue, the original Maximum Residue Limit of Veterinary Drugs in Animal Derived Foods (No. 17, 1999 of the Ministry of Agriculture) was repealed at the same time.Contents:Attachment: Notes for Maximum Residue Limits of Veterinary Drugs in Animal Derived Foods 1. See Annex 1 for all veterinary drugs approved by the Ministry of Agriculture for use in food-producing animals according to quality standards, product instructions with no requirement for setting maximum residue limits. 2. See Annex 2 for all veterinary drugs approved by the Ministry of Agriculture for use in food-producing animals according to quality standards, product instructions with requirement for setting maximum residue limits. 3. See Annex 3 for all veterinary drugs approved by the Ministry of Agriculture for use in food-producing animals according to quality standards, product instructions with requirement for not detecting veterinary drug residues. 4. See Annex 4 for the veterinary drugs that are prohibited from being used in all food-producing animals as expressly stipulated by the Ministry of Agriculture.
