Permitted food raw materials in China are from two main sources: conventional food raw materials and new food raw materials approved by National Health Commission (NHC). This article collects the latest and historically proposed food raw materials to keep you up-to-date with the changes regarding Chinese food raw materials regulations.
As revealed by the notice on January 12, 2023, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) opened four new food raw materials for public comment. Any comments can be sent to [email protected] before February 12, 2023.
